Why ENVY Academy?

WHAT TO BRING
- Knee pads (not required, just recommended), volleyball shoes/ other none street shoes (ideally to help protect our courts, athletic shorts/shirt
- Water bottle (clearly labeled)
- Optional: Ankle braces if needed
- Arrive warmed up and ready 10 minutes before start time
- Positive, coachable attitude!
Extras & Logistics
- Weekly competition: teams randomized weekly to maximize player exposure and learning; every player gets both training and match reps.
- 90 minutes of training a night. Plyometrics will not be included with this training session.
- Communication & scheduling: Download the PlayMetrics app to stay up to date on practice times, roster assignments, week-to-week team randomization, cancellations, and coach messages. (Search “ENVY Volleyball Club” in PlayMetrics and enable notifications.)
- Photos/videos: Coaches may capture action photos and short clips for player development and club promotion. Notify staff if you opt-out.
Frequently Asked Questions
Who should register?
Any player who is interested in growing their game in a fun and competitive way. This is open to boys and girls. Register for the grade the player will enter this fall. 12U, and middle school divisions as listed.
What is the cost and what’s included?
$125 per player until Aug 1. Then $225. Includes coaching, high level coaching from our top coaches, weekly scrimmages, and facility time.
Can players attend drop-in or only full session?
The program is designed as a full-session academy. Contact us if you need individual accommodations — limited drop-ins may be allowed pending space and coach approval.
What if a session is canceled (weather/other)?
Cancellations will be posted in PlayMetrics. Make-up sessions may be scheduled where possible.
What is the coach-to-player ratio?
We keep ratios low for quality instruction; exact numbers vary by night and enrollment. Contact us for current ratio info.
Are evaluations required?
No formal tryout is required for Academy. Players should register for their grade division they are entering Fall 2026. Coaches will group players for training and league play to maximize development.
Refund/cancellation policy?
Registration fees are generally non-refundable after roster placement due to shirt ordering and staffing. Contact the club immediately for extenuating circumstances; any refunds or credits are at the club director’s discretion. Missed days due to vacations or other commitments are not refundable.
